Crypto prices are falling again on Thursday, with Bitcoin and other major coins shedding some of their recent gains as the market continues a correction that took hold on Wednesday after another record Bitcoin price.
Bitcoin has plunged to a current price of $97,020, just two days after hitting this new high above $108,000. The leading cryptocurrency is now down 7% on the day, but other large-cap coins are suffering larger losses on the day.

Meanwhile, leading coin Dogecoin crashed nearly 20% that day to a current price of around $0.31. And Solana fell below $200, falling 12% to a current price of $191.
It’s a bloodbath up and down the crypto charts, with the market as a whole down 9% according to CoinGecko data. As a result, according to CoinGlass data, some $1.17 billion in long and short positions were liquidated over the past day, with Bitcoin leading the way with $241 million in liquidations.
