tl; DR: Ethereum protocol studies come back for 2025. Visit Epf.wiki To complete the investigation and join the town hall on Wednesday, February 12.
The Ethereum Protocol Study Program (EPS) is back for 2025! Designed to reduce the barrier to understanding Ethereum’s main protocol, EPS provides structured learning and a direct path to deeper knowledge of the protocol.
Expansion of learning resources
In the past year, we have created a study program Covering fundamental Ethereum concepts available to help new participants. These recordings serve as an invaluable resource for newcomers and experienced manufacturers.
Certain protruding facts of the program include This Session on sampling of data available by Dankrad, This Intensive on the lightclient execution layer complexes, and This Exploration on MEV and protocol service with Barnabé.
For the future, the 2025 program will focus on deep dives in the execution layer and the consensus layer, offering structured learning experience to understand the architecture of customers, research areas and other fields Ethereum protocol.
EPF Wiki: a living knowledge base
A key initiative for this year is the expansion of Epf.wiki. This collaborative knowledge base already contains in -depth documentation on the main Ethereum protocol, and we encourage other open source contributions by adding your explanations described and refined and helping others to learn. Whether you start or deeply in the search for Ethereum, contributions to wiki are essential to maintain a complete educational resource.
What to expect from the EPS in 2025
This year’s EPS continues to offer an open approach, without authorization and focused on the apprenticeship community. Participants will engage with basic developers and researchers from various customer teams as part of the program and can expect:
- A Q&R at the Town Hall February 12 at 1500 UTC
- 2 weeks of intensive integration with content of 2024
- 6 weeks of deep dives in the consensus layer and mechanisms
- Live seminar discussions with engineers and protocol researchers
- Discord dedicated to conversations on each part of the protocol
- Collaborative documentation efforts via Epf.wiki
- Preparation of cohort 6 of the Ethereum protocol scholarship
If you are looking for a way to get involved in Ethereum’s main protocol, participate in the EPS and be part of the next generation of Ethereum protocol.
