The Trump Organization will announce a major new cryptocurrency initiative in the coming weeks. Company Chairman Eric Trump told the Post he sees immense promise in the burgeoning technologies — and is ready to use them in his company’s portfolio.
Rumors began circulating earlier this month when Trump’s youngest son posted on X that he had “fallen in love” with the new technology and that his supporters should “stay tuned” for a special announcement.
“It’s digital real estate,” he told The Post in an exclusive interview.
“It’s fair. It’s a guarantee that everyone can have instant access to. I don’t know if people realize what a disruption this is for the banking and financial world. I hope we can help change that.”
Former President Donald Trump’s 40-year-old second son believes that cryptocurrency and decentralized finance are potentially powerful accelerators of the American economy.
“Over half the country right now doesn’t have a bank account,” Trump said.
“That means they’ll be denied most loans from most institutions. But with this technology, they could have the ability to be approved or denied almost instantly by a lender based on math, not rules. Money could be in their account in minutes, not months.”
Trump said the financial sector has become so red-taped over the past three decades that he now believes serious changes are needed to keep the economy running.

“The system as it exists today can be manipulated. And it is. All the time,” Trump warned.
“My family has definitely had its share of financial discrimination. I have a unique perspective on how easily people can be shut out of certain markets. It slows everything down. It’s not right.”
The details of the announcement remain a closely guarded secret and a source of speculation, but the Trump Organization chairman says that as soon as “everything is finalized and ready to go,” he will make the announcement to the world.
“At some point, I think we all want some form of financial independence and a world where we don’t have to play by the rules of the big banks,” he concluded.
“That day is coming soon.”
