As December 30 approaches, the industry is at the dawn of a new era and many are wondering how to ensure full compliance with the new MiCA rules. Worldpay’s senior legal counsel, Manoj Peiris, summed up the situation when he said: “People are saying, ‘We want to comply, we want to be regulated, but what should we do?’ Forecasts and deadlines are looming, but regulators have not yet published full details on how you can apply for a license and what your obligations will be.”
