Binance founder Changpeng “CZ” Zhao has confirmed his participation in Binance Blockchain Week in Dubai on October 30-31. This will be his first public appearance after his release from prison.
CZ was sentenced to four months in prison in April for violating the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) by failing to implement an adequate know-your-customer (KYC) program at Binance.
By choosing to attend the Dubai event, Zhao is sending a clear message to the cryptocurrency community:
