Coinbase added the native Altcoin of the decentralized upper exchange (DEX) to its inscription roadmap.
Coinbase customers could soon be able to exchange Pancakeswap (Cake), the native asset of Pancakeswap, a Dex originally built on the BNB channel.
Pancakeswap has extended to several blockchains and now leads all decentralized negotiation volumes, registering $ 228.03 billion in the last 30 days compared to $ 95.706 billion in United Dollars (UNI), according to DEFI LLAMA.
Pancakeswap also recently set its monthly record with $ 173 billion in the volume of negotiation in May.
The addition of the roadmap, announced on Wednesday, has not increased the cake price: the classified cryptographic asset of the 116th is negotiated to $ 2.25 at the time of writing and is down more than 7% in the last 24 hours and almost 11% in the last seven days.
Being added to the Coinbase registration roadmap means that the first American crypto exchange plans to roll the commercial support for the assets in the near future. The roadmap was created in 2022 to increase transparency and reduce the possibility of investors to provide new commercial support announcements.
CEO of Coinbase, Brian Armstrong, previously said that the exchange aims to list as many cryptographic assets as possible, as long as they met the standards of the company.
