Web3 startup Venga presented this week at the European Blockchain Convention (EBC) in Barcelona. The event marks the first time the Venga team has appeared publicly to share its vision of accelerating mainstream crypto adoption through a user-friendly super app.
Europe’s first blockchain event, EBC saw over 6,000 crypto enthusiasts converge on Barcelona for two days of conferences, panel discussions, networking opportunities, workshops, seminars and after-parties. The conference took place in Venga’s hometown and his team was present throughout the conference as a Gold sponsor.
Venga had its own cool and lively booth at the convention with rooftop banners making it easy for the community to notice the brand within the sprawling Montjuïc exhibition center. In addition to operating its own booth at EBC, team members participated in events over the two days.
On Wednesday, Ana Carolina Oliveira, Venga’s Head of Compliance, was part of a prime-time conference panel regarding the MiCA (Markets in Crypto Assets) regulations. She and the compliance team have direct knowledge of this legislation as Venga prepares to apply for MiCA registration.
On Thursday, Venga CEO Michael Stroev dynamically presented Venga’s project to industry professionals on the main stage and then participated in a panel discussion on crypto adoption, making a big impression on those two occasions. To end this edition of the European Blockchain Convention on a high note, Venga also organized a pop-up event at its stand offering drinks, networking opportunities and a live DJ.
More than 300 speakers attended the EBC, including luminaries from The Sandbox, Bitpanda, Polygon, Bitstamp, Bitwise and Kraken. More than 100 sessions were scheduled across three stages, while other highlights included a startup battle and a 3,000m² exhibition area. And Venga put his presence at the forefront of the event.
Venga’s mobile app allows European consumers to access the crypto services needed for its first release and will soon incorporate more advanced innovations from the decentralized space. It offers a simplified user experience that makes it easy for beginners to enter the digital economy and start using blockchain products. The team’s presence at EBC was an opportunity to meet its growing community and raise awareness of Venga’s mission to reduce barriers to Web3 adoption. It was the team’s first official public appearance, and the least we can say is that they were noticed.
