A cryptographic community focused on women known as Berabaddies has teamed up with a concrete infra to launch a community safe which offers a yield on Berachain, all in order to make DEFI simpler and easier for non-technical and most recent merchants in Crypto.
Berachain launched earlier this year in February – but the Berabaddies had formed a year before in February 2024, when Berachain was in Testnet. The group of girls is separated from the Berachain foundation and team, and is incubated by the venture capital studio focused on Berachain Honey Jar Plus Ursadom Labs.
“Berachain is the community in which I found my house and I found my voice,” told me in an interview, founder of Berabaddies, who prefers to use her first name.
Keisha said that the idea of the Berabaddies had come when it had been strongly involved in trading, but found itself missing its best friends when he spent countless hours in discord servers and discussion groups full of guys.
The Vault Multisig Berabaddies should perform weekly exams and has a 72 -hour retaining window for safety.
“To earn money on Berachain at the moment, you need to understand the parts, the DEFI, how (proof of liquidity) works specifically for Berachain. You could be an expert from Ethereum, on any other channel, and then you could come to Berachain and have a abrupt learning curve because there are so many diapers,” said Keisha.
“We are trying to summarize so many risks and complexity, and make it super simple. This is (a) a deposit in one click, either honey or Bera, “she continued.
Bera is Berachain’s native token, and honey is its native stable.
“You shouldn’t have to understand 70 complex terms. You shouldn’t need to know it to earn money,” she added.
I also asked questions about this Berabaddies viral video, The Real Housewives of Berabaddies, which is 100% satire and triggered joy – and resentment.
“I had a little embossing in the publication of this video,” said Keisha. “People will always be unhappy with me or unhappy with what the bad guys do.”
In the end, it seems that many viewers have missed the point. The objective of the group of Berabaddies is not to present all women as voids or shallow. It is to bring a little humor to the chronology and show all women that there is a space for you in crypto where you can be yourself.
“Our community, when we have these events, they are for women, but these products can be used by anyone,” said Keisha about the safe. “Our goal and our attention are on aesthetics and femininity and kindness and make it fun and simple.”
The Berabaddies team is small, with six team members in total and only three to four working on the full -time project, said the founder. But the call of the Berabaddies is clearly there – there are more than 900 women in his group cat.
The group also offers educational resources to help women make careers in crypto, starting with marketing, and also has plans for a dressing game.
“I support the rights and wrongs of the bad guys,” said Keisha. “We are also there for all the bad guys, all the women in this space, so that you have the freedom to express yourself as you see fit.”
