Our global headquarters is now officially in Cheyenne, Wyoming, affirming our commitment to cryptography innovation based in the United States. Renowned as a pioneer in cryptographic regulations, Wyoming is home to many avant-garde decision-makers and entrepreneurs who recognize the incredible potential of technology.
Wyoming commitment to innovation is both visible and extended. The state has promulgated more than 30 crypto-specific laws, ranging from the formal recognition of digital assets as property, to the creation of a dedicated fintech sandy tank, to the protections against the binding disclosure of the private keys.
This approach, which hits the path of cryptography regulation quickly caught our attention and put the state of equality on the map as a crypto center.
These innovative laws have also inspired our early investment in the ecosystem of increasing digital assets of Wyoming. In 2021, to celebrate our 10th anniversary, we granted a subsidy of $ 300,000 at the University of Wyoming to support educational initiatives preparing students for the rapidly growing cryptographic economy.

We have also sponsored the Wyoming Blockchain Stampede and Hackathon in Uw, helping to transform the campus into a home of real world cryptography experiment. These investments in the state cryptography ecosystem have further deepened our presence in Wyoming.
Based on this foundation last year, we co-organized the very first Wyoming Blockchain symposium in Jackson Hole. The event brought together 250 main manufacturers, investors and political decision-makers to catalyze the regulation of avant-garde cryptography, promote institutional understanding of the asset class and create a more decentralized financial system.
The Wyoming Pro-Crypto environment has made it a backdrop particularly well located for these important conversations.
Now, almost four years after our initial interest in Wyoming, it’s time to further deepen our local presence by establishing Cheyenne roots. This decision does not change our workforce distributed worldwide and at a distance, it is the recognition of pro-Crypto decision-makers and constructive regulations that made us feel at home.
From the tireless advocacy of senator Cynthia Lummis in the name of Bitcoin and the cryptographic industry, to the many laws of states that stimulate responsible innovation, Wyoming proved that there was no state better suited to the siege of Kraken.
“Wyoming has been at the forefront of digital asset policy for almost a decade and has created the perfect environment for digital asset companies to prosper,” said Lummis. “Kraken’s decision to move to the state of equality testifies to the avant-garde approach to Wyoming and strengthen the position of Wyoming as the first American crypto hub.”
Stay listening as we continue to innovate, evolve and redefine the future of money and finance, now from Cheyenne, Wyoming.
