Ronin, an EVM-based blockchain, has several new studios on its blockchain, Sky Mavis announced today.
These studios — including Cambria, Infomon, Kuroro Beasts, Last Odyssey, Party Icons, Pixel Heroes Adventure, and Xtremeverse — are part of an initiative to use the Ronin blockchain for all-new Web3 games while providing select studios with up to $50,000 in funding.
Ronin is an Ethereum virtual machine blockchain built specifically for gaming. Built by Sky Mavis, the creator of the $1.3 billion Web3 hit Axie Infinity, the Ronin blockchain was built to scale a single game to millions of daily active users with over $4 billion in NFT volume.
The chosen studios represent a wide variety of game types, including a risk-based MMORPG, a UK-based Pokemon Go-like game, a 5X strategy game, and more.
