At 7:29 am UTC today, on the time 222464THE Pectra network upgrade went online on Sepolia’s testnet.
Unfortunately, a problem with the authorized sepolia deposit contract prevented many customers from the execution layer from including transactions in blocks. The deep cause was identified in a few minutes and the customer teams immediately started working on a solution.
This problem is due to the configuration of Sépolia and could not occur on the Mainnet Ethereum.
Around 2:00 p.m. UTC today, the validators deployed a correction which restored the network to normal flow.
All Sepolia node operators must now upgrade their execution layer customers to the versions listed below to maintain network compatibility.
